GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
SUBJECT
The purpose of these conditions is to define the terms and conditions of sale between La Petite Main and the user, from the order to the services, including payment and delivery.
They regulate all the steps involved in placing the order and ensure that the order is followed up between the contracting parties.
CHARACTERISTICS OF THE GOODS AND SERVICES OFFERED
La Petite Main markets culinary training courses on its website. The services offered for sale online are only those listed in the course calendar. These products and services are offered subject to availability.
La Petite Main's other services, such as private, group or corporate courses, are available on request via the contact form.
The photographs on the site are for illustrative purposes only.
La Petite Main reserves the right to modify the recipes in the programme according to seasonality.
La Petite Main reserves the right to postpone or cancel courses. If it is not possible to reschedule the course to another date convenient to the customer, the course fee will be refunded.
Customers can reserve several seats.
Gift vouchers are valid for a maximum of one year from the date of purchase.
RATES
Prices are given in euros, inclusive of all taxes, and are only valid for videoconference workshops.
The prices indicated for video lessons include the teaching aids in digital format (replay, recipe card). La Petite Main reserves the right to change its prices at any time, it being understood, however, that the price shown on the order form and validated by the user at the time of payment is the only price applicable to the order in question.
For requests for private lessons, group lessons, home lessons or business lessons, La Petite Main undertakes to provide an estimate based on the pastry made, the number of participants, the number of hours of the course and the distance to the course venue.
ORDERING
The order can only be registered on the site if the user has clearly identified himself by entering his full contact details in the order form.
Any order implies acceptance of the prices and description of the products and services available for sale.
Confirmation of the order implies acceptance of these general terms and conditions of sale.
La Petite Main undertakes to honour orders received on the website within the limit of places available for bookings and requests for private, group or company lessons received via the contact form. If there is no availability, La Petite Main undertakes to inform the user.
All the data supplied and the recorded confirmation constitute proof of the transaction. In accordance with the French Civil Code, validation of the order form constitutes signature and acceptance of the transactions carried out.
Confirmation of the registered order is sent by e-mail after validation of payment to the e-mail address indicated by the user.
La Petite Main reserves the right to refuse any order in the event of an existing dispute with the user.
PAYMENT
Payment is due when a videoconference workshop is ordered. A deposit is payable when a quotation is signed.
RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL / RETURN
Once paid, orders are non-refundable.
A reservation for a physical workshop can only be postponed at the customer's request if this request is made by e-mail and reaches La Petite Main at least 72 hours before the start of the course.
The customer may make a new reservation within a maximum of 3 months from the date of cancellation of the course. For videoconference workshops, the cancellation deadline is 48 hours before the course can be rescheduled.
COURSE OF THE VIDEOCONFERENCE WORKSHOP
Once the pastry workshop has been booked by the customer, the customer will receive a list of ingredients, the list of compulsory equipment and explanatory content for the preparations to be made the day before the class. The ingredients must be prepared by the customer before the class.
The workshop will start with a videoconference on Zoom with the other participants (except in the case of a private class). La Petite Main undertakes to deliver the complete recipe, with all the explanations, advice and problem-solving required to make the recipe a success. La Petite Main is not responsible for the final result obtained by the customer. Each recipe is tested and validated beforehand by La Petite Main.
At the end of the course, La Petite Main will be available to answer customers' questions. A replay of the lesson and the recipe card will be sent to customers by email.
The workshop lasts between two and three hours, depending on the pastry.
COURSE OF THE WORKSHOP AT HOME/COMPANY/GROUP
Once the pastry workshop has been booked by the customer using the contact form, the customer will receive one week in advance the list of ingredients, the list of compulsory equipment and the explanatory content for the preparations to be made the day before the course. The ingredients must be prepared by the customer before the course.
La Petite Main does not pay for the purchase of ingredients. La Petite Main travels to the customer's or company's premises or the location chosen by the customer/company with its own equipment. However, La Petite Main undertakes to bring small items of equipment to make up for any shortfalls.
La Petite Main undertakes to deliver the complete recipe, with all the explanations, advice and problem-solving required to make the recipe a success. La Petite Main is not responsible for the final result obtained by the customer. Each recipe is tested and validated beforehand by La Petite Main.
At the end of the course, La Petite Main will be on hand to answer any questions customers may have. The recipe card will be given to each participant at the end of the course.

GIFT CARDS
La Petite Main offers three different gift cards corresponding to the three types of workshop: short (€65), medium (€75) and long (€85). The gift cards can be used for all the workshops, but the amount remaining on the card will not be reimbursed. The gift card takes the form of a personalised code that can be used once and is valid for 1 year from the date of issue. The code must be entered at the time of payment.
RESPONSIBILITY OF THE SERVICE PROVIDER
La Petite Main may not be held liable for any damage resulting from the use of the Internet network, such as loss of data, intrusion, viruses, disruption of service or other involuntary problems.
La Petite Main cannot be held responsible for any damage caused during a workshop at home, in a company or in any other place.
La Petite Main undertakes to use its best efforts to provide up-to-date and accurate information. The company cannot be held responsible for any errors and/or omissions relating to this information.
CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY
The customer undertakes to pay for the order at the time of purchase for a videoconference course.
The customer undertakes to pay a deposit when signing the quotation for a private lesson, a home lesson, a group lesson or an in-company lesson.
The customer may cancel the workshop a maximum of 48 hours in advance for a videoconference course and 72 hours in advance for a private course, a home course, a group course or a company course. After this time, the customer will not be reimbursed, except in exceptional cases for which justification must be provided.
PERSONAL DATA
The information and personal data that La Petite Main asks the user to provide are reserved for its use. The user has the right to access, modify, rectify and delete data concerning him/her (art 34 of the French Data Protection Act No 78-17). To exercise this right, please contact La Petite Main - contact@lapetitemain.fr, enclosing a copy of your identity card or passport for identification purposes. To place an order, the user must fill in an order form with their full contact details. It is clearly stipulated that bank details are not recorded on this account. For each new order, the user must provide their bank card details via the payment interface.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
La Petite Main, the www.lapetitemain.fr website and its content are protected by trademark law and/or copyright and other rights. All these elements remain the exclusive property of La Petite Main. Pursuant to the provisions of the French Intellectual Property Code, the legislative and regulatory provisions of all countries and international conventions, any representation and/or reproduction, or use or exploitation, in whole or in part, of any of the aforementioned elements, without the prior written consent of La Petite Main, is prohibited.
STORAGE AND ARCHIVING OF TRANSACTIONS - PROOF
Order forms and invoices are archived on a reliable and durable medium so as to correspond to a faithful and durable copy in accordance with article 1348 of the French Civil Code. The computerised registers will be considered as proof of communications, orders and payments between the parties.
APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION
These terms and conditions are governed by French law. The place of jurisdiction in the event of a dispute shall be the defendant's place of residence or, at the plaintiff's option, the place of actual delivery of the product.
